WIRED Magazine (Japan) commissioned me to create a series of collages to support two articles. 

 

This project is the perfect example of how collage is such a versatile medium and can cover such a wide variety of topics. 

I decided to use sculpture as my main photography source as it allowed me to show the human form without being too graphic. I was asked to have a link between the two articles if possible, so I thought that was something that would work well for both articles. 

The red thread work was included to symbolise pain and to help tie the series together. 

I was also asked to introduce a 'glitch' effect into the Penises article.
